1. Consumer right of withdrawal
An individual buying Ramón mainly outside their trade or profession may withdraw from the distance contract without giving a reason within 14 days after conclusion.
Send an unambiguous statement to ramon@hanlon.world before the deadline. For example: “I give notice that I withdraw from my Ramón subscription ordered on [date], order [number], account email [email].” This wording is optional.
2. Immediate performance
Before paid performance starts during the 14-day period, the consumer must separately and actively request immediate performance. The checkbox must not be preselected, and accepting general terms is not a substitute.
If the consumer does not make that request, the paid service should not begin before day 14, or the company may not charge for performance supplied without a valid request.
Starting to use Ramón does not by itself remove the withdrawal right for a service contract. The right is lost only when the relevant service has been fully performed. A one-off top-up is fully performed once every request in that pack has been supplied. If the consumer expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged this consequence before purchase, no withdrawal refund is due for a fully used top-up, to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
3. Refund calculation during withdrawal
- No requests used: full refund.
- Service started after a separate request: refund less the proportionate value actually supplied.
- Fully used top-up: no withdrawal refund where the required express request and acknowledgement were made before purchase and mandatory law permits the pack to be treated as fully performed.
The total deduction cannot exceed the amount paid and applies only to the part actually supplied. The formula applies only where it gives at least the protection required by mandatory law.
Expiry under the disclosed top-up term does not itself create a refund right. This does not limit withdrawal rights or remedies where the service was unavailable or non-conforming, the charge was incorrect, or the expiry date was not properly disclosed before payment.
4. Voluntary accidental-renewal refund
In addition to mandatory rights, Hanlon Solutions OÜ refunds an accidental automatic renewal when all conditions are met: for a monthly renewal, the request arrives within 48 hours; for an annual renewal, within 7 calendar days; and no request or other paid benefit has been used after renewal.
Where post-renewal use occurred, a refund is available only when required by law, for a defective service or payment error, or where separately agreed.
5. Business customers
The statutory consumer withdrawal right normally does not apply to business purchases. As a voluntary commercial policy, Hanlon Solutions OÜ applies the same 14-day conditions and proportionate-use calculation to B2B orders unless an individual written contract states otherwise. This does not make a business customer a consumer.
6. Non-conformity and payment errors
Nothing limits rights to correction, repeat performance, price reduction, termination or refund where the digital service does not conform to the contract. Incorrect, unauthorised or duplicate charges are reviewed separately.
7. Method and timing
Refunds use the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed without cost to the customer. A statutory withdrawal refund is made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notice is received. A bank or payment network may take additional time to display it.
